Some of the Ways that Lions Help

LCIF & Disaster Assistance

LCIF: Lions Club International Foundation

LCIF has been awarding grants since its founding in 1968.  To date the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has awarded more than US$1billion and more than 13,000 grants to support Lions humanitarian projects around the world. LCIF was also ranked the number one non-governmental organization in a 2007 study by The Financial Times because 100% of the money Lions Club members raise and the donations we receive go to the cause or charity.

Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
